We’re pleased to announce that Richard Woodward will be joining SPERI as a visiting fellow from March until September 2014.
Richard is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Politics, Philosophy & International Studies at the University of Hull. His main research interests are in the field of political economy with special reference to the globalisation and governance of financial markets, the City of London, financial crime, offshore financial centres, international organisation, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
He is currently working on a companion guide to international organisations (with Michael Davies), a history of ideas in political economy (with Simon Lee) and articles concerned with the OECD’s role in global governance.
This visit will help to facilitate the research project relating to the OECD’s tax transparency initiative. He will also be contributing to SPERI’s ongoing engagement and outreach initiatives including blogging, making a contribution to the SPERI Working Paper Series and presenting a paper at the SPERI conference in July.
