Martin Craig joins the SPERI research team
We are very pleased to announce that Martin Craig will join the SPERI team on Monday as a research associate to begin work on a programme of research addressing the issues of economic growth and environmental crisis. His approach to the topic is to critically interrogate our understandings of what constitutes ‘economic success’ and ‘good economic development’ in the context of a diminishing timescale to achieve such aims before the onset of environmental crisis.
Martin is completing his PhD studies at the University of Sheffield, where his research addresses the political construction of crisis in the years between 2008 and 2013 through a constructivist institutionalist perspective. During the course of his studies Martin has presented his research as an invited speaker and at major conferences, and has recently had an article accepted for publication in the journal New Political Economy.Print page
