The Review of International Political Economy (RIPE) journal has announced an all-women Editorial Board for the first time in its history.
SPERI Co-Director Professor Genevieve LeBaron is a member of the new RIPE Editorial Board alongside Jacqueline Best (University of Ottawa), Rachel Epstein (University of Denver), Ilene Grabel (University of Denver), Lena Rethel (University of Warwick) and Juliet Johnson (McGill University).
RIPE has announced that Juliet Johnson has accepted a one-year position as Lead Editor of the RIPE Editorial Board. Juliet Johnson, Chair and Professor of Political Science at McGill University, was previously RIPE’s Lead Editor from 2011-14. Wes Widmaier, who had served as Lead Editor since 2016, recently completed his term on the Board.
Now in its 26th year and with a 2018 impact factor of 2.8, RIPE is a leading journal dedicated to the systematic exploration of the international political economy from a plurality of perspectives.
