Halifax Hall, University of Sheffield

Halifax Hall

Halifax Hall

Formerly a Victorian steel baron’s mansion and subsequently University hall of residence for more than 80 years, Halifax Hall has re-opened this year after undergoing renovation to transform the venue in to a beautiful 38 bedroom boutique hotel with deluxe conference facilities.

Halifax combines distinctive 19th century elegance with contemporary luxury. Originally built in the 1830s, this Victorian mansion offers a quiet retreat set within beautiful gardens – the perfect, undisturbed conference location in the heart of Sheffield.
