Adam is interested in all aspects of political economy and in particular the financial crisis 2008, the role of British banks in the global economy, tax havens and the provision of offshore financial services. Adam’s current research asks whether banks in the U.K. have learned lessons from the 2008 financial crisis and focuses upon understanding the reform process post-crisis. He read for a BA Sociology at the University of Hull graduating in 2009 before going on to complete a Master’s degree in Global Political Economy also at the University of Hull graduating in 2012.
