‘Reporting the (Political?) Economy’

A panel discussion: Students’ Union Auditorium, 6pm, 14 October 2014

The first SPERI event of the academic year will be a panel discussion between a group of eminent journalists all of whom report on and write about the economy from different positions and perspectives.  They will reflect on their roles and working assumptions, debate issues amongst themselves and answer questions from the audience.

The panel will be chaired by Peter Cole, Professor Emeritus of Journalism Studies at the University of Sheffield and formerly founding Editor of The Sunday Correspondent and Deputy Editor of The Guardian.
